Event Specialist (Event Setup & Delivery)

Job Overview

Fun Events is looking for motivated and reliable Event Specialists to join our team. Event Specialists play a key role in helping create memorable events by delivering, setting up, monitoring, and removing party and event rental equipment. This is a hands-on position that requires teamwork, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic.

Our team works on a wide variety of events including weddings, graduations, school events, corporate functions, festivals, and backyard parties.

Responsibilities

  • Load and unload event rental equipment including tents, tables, chairs, inflatables, games, and other event items

  • Deliver equipment to event locations safely and on time

  • Set up and properly secure equipment according to company safety standards

  • Monitor inflatables and other equipment during events when required

  • Break down and pack equipment after events

  • Inspect equipment for cleanliness, damage, and proper operation

  • Assist with warehouse organization and equipment maintenance

  • Safely drive company trucks or trailers to and from event locations (when authorized)

  • Provide friendly and professional customer service while on site

Requirements

  • Must be reliable and punctual

  • Ability to lift 50–75 lbs repeatedly

  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions

  • Comfortable with physical labor and working on your feet

  • Valid driver’s license preferred (required for delivery drivers)

  • Ability to work weekends and evenings, especially during busy event seasons

  • Strong teamwork and communication skills

Preferred (but not required)

  • Experience in event setup, moving, delivery, construction, or warehouse work

  • Experience driving trucks or towing trailers

  • Mechanical aptitude for minor equipment maintenance
